Smuttynose IPA

Is this beer supposed to be unfiltered? It tasted fine, but was full or residual sediment and particles. I know some people don't mind that, and I am ok with a little residual yeast and whatnot in the bottom of the bottle, but this was over the top. Didn't finish it.
